This Privacy Policy explains how DexOpticon ("DexOpticon," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit dexopticon.io, contact us, join our waitlist or use our Services. We keep data collection to what we need to run the business.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote requests: your name, email address, company or project name, the networks you're interested in, node type, use case and anything you write in the message field.
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email address.
- Customers: contact and billing details, and any information you share with us while we set up and support your Services.
- Correspondence: the content of emails and messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Website: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and request logs to deliver and secure the site. The site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Services: when you use our RPC endpoints, we process request metadata such as source IP addresses, methods called, timestamps and request volumes to operate, secure, troubleshoot and bill for the Services.
2. How we use information
- To respond to quote requests and questions, and to prepare quotes.
- To provide, maintain, secure and bill for the Services.
- To contact waitlist members about DexOpticon Intelligence. You can ask to be removed at any time.
- To send service notices, such as maintenance, security and billing messages.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Service providers we use
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the business:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Web3Forms: delivers website form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Workspace: business email.
- Google Fonts: serves the website's fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Payment processors and infrastructure providers: to bill customers and host their nodes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
4. How long we keep information
We keep quote requests and correspondence for as long as needed to follow up and maintain a business relationship, and waitlist emails until the waitlist is no longer active or you ask to be removed. We keep customer and billing records as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. We retain Service request logs only for as long as needed for operations, security and billing.
5. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@dexopticon.io. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what we hold about you and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We'll respond within the time required by applicable law.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the site or Services, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.
8. Children
The site and Services aren't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting customers, we'll notify them by email.
